Short bio · one line

V. Tacet is a pen name for a young European writer whose eight planned books share no genre — only one attention.

Full bio

V. Tacet is a pen name. A young man from Europe, still in his twenties — the rest is in the books.

He doesn't write one kind of story, because he has never been able to see the world as one kind of place. He sees it in angles and details, in the small mechanics under the skin — the way a wrongly-placed glass can be an act of love or the start of a wound. His mind was built to notice too much. The books are what that looks like when he stops fighting it.

His debut novel, Raw Hunger, is a quiet psychological horror about a caregiver who takes a wealthy family's worst unspoken wishes literally. Behind it is One Hour of Pain — a confession, not fiction, the one thing he will never sell. It's free at vtacet.com.

Tacet is Latin for "he is silent." He writes so he doesn't have to be.
